Takes a looks at the event that happen in Chile in 1973. Karen L. Remmer looks at the Pinochet regime and examen the social and economic parts during this time. The author also looks at every aspect of the regime like the leaders and the military and breaks down its traditions and history of it. Karen also examines Chile's neighborhoods and looks at how they were affected. This work is helpful to me because it allows me to get a bigger picture of the whole situation.
